Is the seatpost size on your Jackal a 26.6? That's what my calipers are reading, but I want to be sure before I order a Thomson Elite post for it.

Yeah I have been told that as well. The bike had some 5" rise S&M C4s on it before but I want the new build to double as a street/commute bike for me. For jumping curbs, transitions, gaps, etc., so having a higher front end would be nice.

sweet dude! be sure to post some pix of it when you get it all built up! the back is ok. i go in next week to see if i can remove the back brace. if not, it'll be at least another month of wearing it OR i'll need surgery depending on how it's healing. i wont start PT until i get the brace off.
